Whenever we become aware of recasting please draw our attention to this here... Recasting comes in many forms but basically it is when you make a copy of someone-elses work and yes technically all those copies of Earthshock helmets and Tomb lids are all recasts from screen used helmets (except when they scratch built like mine lol)... but what makes it really devious is when someone actually sells them, rebadges them as theirs, or basically is out to make money from your hard graft... simple as.

I have for sale a Cyberman Helmet - Invasion Style - Made by "This Planet Earth" it was purchased by me directly from the company in 2002 and has only been on display in a glass cabinet, the helmet condition is as new with a detachable backplate, asking price is £130 + postage.

This is an Officialy licensed item although "This Planet Earth" do not issue a certificate with there Cyberhelmets and the helmets do not carry any official markings, if you require any further details please drop me an email, thanks for looking....simon.

I bought these off ebay a while back, but basically I don't need them. I was planning my cyberman film and occasionally looking on ebay (when i had more spare cash) and what interested me was that the casting has been made with that part metal mix so in theory is polishable. I'm not so convinced, but it probably is. My film will feature cybermen from the original era as I prefer their history and the earlier look - also I cant make a single cyberman head particularly dramatic unless I build it into a larger set piece, and again new series doesn't work for me on that level - I'd rather do it with another era head. 

So to cut a long story short - If you want them, pay the postage and they are yours. Toy helmet and the casting. Free of charge. Whatever it costs 1st class is what you'll pay - I'd imagine less than a...

Following the recovery of my chest unit from storage, my dear wife has decided she would like to get me an Earthshock/Attack style helmet for Xmas. She was watching one on eBay that went for £170 yesterday, but it was a poor looking cast. Is anyone thinking of selling a helmet or know of one for sale?

Building a Better Cyberman (Custom Jobs, scratchbuilds etc) Ideas?

I've always wanted to build a cyberman that was either (A) Completely brand new design by me, or (B) the best parts from existing designs, then customised with off-the shelf items. Similar to how a lot of costumes are made for film and TV - Everyone remembers the Earthshock Moon boots, and the hoover pipes and practice golf balls of the Tomb Cybs.

Imagine you were making a fanfilm featuring a new faction of Cybermen, but only had a budget of a couple of hundred per costume....you'd have to wing it basically.

With that in mind, I thought I'd open up a thread with pics and ideas of things that you can find on Fleabay or elsewhere that would look good with a coat of silver. No marigolds or Doc Martens in sight!

Wanted - Licenced MFX Cyber Controller &/or 2008 Cyber Leader.

I'm trying to complete the MFX part of my collection but the Controller & Leader (black faced) ,are the two items proving elusive.

There was a Controller on Ebay but as i frantically tried to raise cash without alerting 'The Rani' some one else 'bought it now' smiley: ohwell

If any one knows of either of these that might be coming up for grabs at some point...... but don't tell the my missus,i need to try & sneak these in under the radar.

Help finding pieces

Hi Everyone, I'm looking for any costume pieces i can get for the current generation Cybermen from the new series. I've been trying the pepakura files but wouldn't mind taking a few short cuts if possible. Also i would a Mark VI or VII Helmet and chest plate. I can't seem to find anywhere to get a cast, or find a mold that i can use. I'm not talented enough to build my own and it look good. (I normally laugh at my own productionssmiley: roll).

Please let me know if you have ANY parts, castings, or molds i can take off your hands for a good price. Or if you know of anywhere i can purchase these items.

hey guys, can anyone help me in my quest to get an invasion style cyberman helmet? i lack the craftsmanship to make my own and lack the money to buy a replica, could anyone find me either a cheap replica or just a plain cast (unpainted etc)? preferably under 50pounds but deffo under 100.

I missed the genuine MFX Cybershade on Ebay last weekend,there are 10 out there,does any one know of the where abouts of any of the others  ?
There are no just soley Cyber collectors amongst us,i know of a genuine MFX Davros & Sontaran for sale,they aren't likely to be Ebay'd so price should be reasonable, if any one wants details please PM me.
